data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading4634_23b1c6-71\">Format<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Binational Postgraduate Course<\/strong> is a free course consisting of a total of <strong>121 hours<\/strong>, of which <strong>30 hours<\/strong> correspond to lectures in <strong>online synchronous\/asynchronous format<\/strong>, <strong>60 hours<\/strong> to the study of secondary materials, <strong>16 hours<\/strong> to training with asynchronous materials, and <strong>26 hours<\/strong> to practical sessions and presentation of results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Theoretical Sessions (October 13th\u201317th, 2025):<\/strong> The theoretical sessions will be held online, in both synchronous and asynchronous formats, during the first week of the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Practical Sessions:<\/strong> A one-week practical session will take place for students at the <strong>IIBCE<\/strong> (October 20th\u201324th, 2025, Montevideo, Uruguay), including <strong>biofilm culture and manipulation, visualization of biofilms using confocal microscopy, and image processing and analysis for the extraction of quantitative
